What Is Horchata Cold Brew?
Horchata cold brew is exactly what it sounds like, and better than you're imagining. It's the drink that makes the most sense in South Texas, where horchata is already a way of life.
The two halves
Cold brew is coffee steeped in cold water for many hours, smoother, lower in acidity, and naturally a little sweet. Horchata is the creamy, cinnamon-kissed rice drink you already love. Pour one over the other and you get a cold coffee that drinks like dessert without being cloying.
Why it works
Cinnamon and coffee are old friends (think café de olla), and the rice-milk body softens cold brew's edge into something silky. It's naturally dairy-optional, refreshing in Valley heat, and it carries a little home in every sip.
How we make ours
We slow-steep our cold brew and pour it over house horchata, so you get the cinnamon and the coffee in balance, not one drowning the other. It's one of our signatures for a reason.
